We Take Responsibility for a Sustainable Future

As DCS Dijital Gümrük Hizmetleri A.Ş., we have been a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact) since 2017.

We strengthen this commitment by supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and, as of 2024, by becoming a signatory to the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), thereby reinforcing our holistic sustainability approach.

In line with our understanding of sustainable and responsible business conduct, DCS integrates the ten universally accepted principles covering human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption into its corporate strategies and operational processes. Respect for human and labor rights, protection of the environment, and a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption constitute the fundamental principles guiding all our activities.

Our ESG-Oriented Governance Framework

DCS addresses all its activities through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) priorities and pursues a sustainability strategy aimed at creating long-term value integrated with its corporate objectives.

This approach provides a holistic governance framework encompassing our digitalization-driven business models, ethical business practices, strong governance standards, employee-focused initiatives, and responsible supply chain approach.

Our strategy is shaped by measurable, goal-oriented, and results-driven approaches and is supported by our policies, procedures, and committees. ESG principles are systematically integrated into both strategic decision-making processes and daily operations, and performance is continuously improved through the regular assessment of key impact areas.

Our Impact Areas Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

DCS does not view sustainability as being limited solely to social responsibility projects; rather, it structures all areas of its operations in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our broad impact areas—including customs technologies, digital solutions, employee well-being, diversity and inclusion, gender equality, and ethical governance—clearly demonstrate that our sustainability approach is embedded across our entire value chain.

Creating Sustainable Value Through Digitalization

In international trade, digitalization plays a critical role in shortening transaction processes, increasing operational efficiency, and reducing environmental impacts. At a global scale, it is estimated that transitioning 2 billion customs declarations to digital platforms could result in approximately 36 million tons of CO₂ savings.

At DCS, we position digital transformation as a strategic sustainability tool at the core of our business model. Through our customs technologies and digital solutions, we make processes more transparent, traceable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

AGSW and Our Sustainability Approach

The Autonomous Global Single Window (AGSW) solutions developed in collaboration with ATEZ Yazılım Teknolojileri A.Ş. support the digitalization of customs processes in an environmentally responsible and regulation-compliant manner, contributing to sustainable business models by enhancing operational efficiency and control.

Sustainable Innovation and New Product Development

Within the scope of its New Products and Services Development Plan, DCS shapes its digitalization and innovation investments around sustainability and consistently pursues its objective of delivering reliable, environmentally responsible, and long-term solutions for its customers and business partners.
